She laid there in the cool spring afternoon under the willows. Head placed down upon forelegs whose paws were dipped in the cool water. Ice blue eyes stared into it's clear depths, ears listening to the soft rustle of the gentle willow branches. She felt closed off under this tree, its branches a screen to the rest of the world. It was here she felt she could let the lid loose on her emotions. She had found Twig again, but it meant closing off her emotions, her true self once more. All her family saw was the soft, gentle girl, the girl who had no issues, who just stood back but was always there to offer a helping paw with a smile. Tail wrapped around her body, she felt like a broken angel. With only one wing she couldn't fly. She didn't know who she really was, what she wanted in life. Only that she wished to find her other wing to fly once more. To feel free, careless, unburden by any bounds to the earth.

She loved her family, truly she did. But sometimes she wished she could run away from it all, the past and present. She never truly felt like she belonged. Only that she was there scrambling to pick up all the pieces left behind. And so would do it without a complaint. They needed someone to do it, to pull them back together once more. But would it happen all over again? Would she be there for them a second time? She couldn't give an answer to that. The yearly closed her eyes with a soft sigh, praying for guidance. She needed someone to be her saving grace. But if they came would she realize it too late? Push them away? More than likely she would. She could only focus on her family problems. She had no time for fun, for love or adventure. No, she had to be there for all her brothers and sisters.

She must have fallen asleep for abit because when her eyes opened once more it was late afternoon, almost evening. Where was Twig? She should be back soon right? She sat up with a yawn and looked around. If she wasn't back by sunset, shed go look for her.

I can talk!
