In my fathers eyes

The pups had been out and about more often that he would've they would. But who could blame them. The island was something new, something different and it was only natural for their curiosity to take over and make them want to explore. He had been spending time here and there with his children, but for the most part they would go off on their own without the guidance of their parents, confident in their growing abilities. He was proud of all his children, especially how independent they were growing up to be. They were all so drastically different in their personalities, and yet they each had a touch of himself and Maija in them, both in their personality and outward appearance. They were truly their parents' children.

One pup in particular, Freya, was the smallest of the litter from what Maija had told him. But that didn't seem to stop her much. She was just as feisty, if not more than her siblings. And it would be hear voice that Taurig would hear as he relaxed at the mouth of the den, Maija sleeping peacefully inside. Tattered ears would prick with alarm, powerful limbs unscrambling from beneath the titan, blind eyes reflexively searching for his daughter's figure despite knowing he wouldn't be able to see her. Freya?! He would call out, his deep bass projecting powerfully as he called out to his daughter, ears moving anxious atop his massive skull, waiting to her hear response. Was she in trouble?
