Tessa stumbles along the path. Her paws are in agony. The rough ground has damaged her thick protective skin so now when she takes a step, she silently yelps out in agony. She has to yelp silently because she has hardly any energy and the energy she does have has to be preserved for walking. Prey is scarce and Tessa hasn?t eaten for days. Her stomach growls as she walks along and you can see most of her bones through her thick coat of filthy fur. Tessa stops. She can?t go on any further. Every part of her body is in agony. Tessa feels her knees buckle beneath her. She franticly moves her head around to see if there is anyone around who would help. She catches a glimpse of a large white majestic looking wolf. Something about him looks familiar but she can?t remember what. She tries to signal to him but she can?t. A few seconds later, Tessa loses consciousness.
