NOVARA

Pack Name: Novara

Territory: Eastern lands- Firefly Lake, 2nd land, 3rd land to be decided

In-Character Reasoning: Taurig gave up Tortuga to his father Isardis in exchange for the returning of his wife and to leave his people alone. The wolves that swore their loyalty to Taurig deserve more than he could ever offer them, but in return for all they have done for him, he wants to provide them with a home and a name, something that they can carry with them the for the rest of their lives. He wants to provide them with safety and security and he believes that building a pack from the ground up with them is the perfect opportunity to thank them for all they have done.

Alpha Description: Taurig is a just leader. He is fair while at the same time strict, but not unreasonably strict. He's kind and gentle, despite his hulking mass. He helps those who need it and is a warrior at heart. He is a caring alpha who will do anything and everything he can for his people because he knows that they would do the same for him. He is a hard working alpha, putting in just as much work as his pack members, if not more. He's dedicated and determined to give his people everything that they deserve and more.

Laws & Description:
Any and all wolves are welcome to join Novara, as long as they are willing to put in the hard work and time to keep the pack running. Background does not matter to Taurig. If they show they are worthy enough to be in Novara, then he will not deny them a place.

1. Respect. Firstmost and primarily, there should be respect. All the time, any time. Alphas should respect their members, and the members should respect their alphas as well as each other. Being disrespectful isn't taken very lightly.

2. Hard work is appreciated and encouraged. The pack can only thrive if everyone works together as a unit. Everyone is expected to contribute, no matter how small the contribution is. Hard work will be noticed and if a wolf is seen working extremely hard, they will be rewarded with a promotion or any other means the alphas deem appropriate.

3. Freedom. No one is a prisoner in Novara. Everyone has their own free will, but that doesn't mean that they can completely disregard their responsibilities if they choose to become a part of the pack. No wolf can be forced to do anything they don't want to, including staying in the pack. As long as an alpha or beta is consulted before hand, any wolf is welcome to take their leave peacefully.

4. Fighting among one another is discouraged, both verbally and physically. Novara is a close knit pack, and everyone is family, whether they are blood-related or not. If any disturbances occur, settle them without violence or bringing harm to one another. If the dispute gets out of hand, a high ranking member should be consulted for further help. Squabbles can occur from time to time, as expected.

5. Mates are allowed and encouraged. Preferably if one is mates with a pack member, that would be ideal, but that doesn't always happen. If a member decides to take a mate from another pack or a rogue, they must consult with the alphas/betas as common courtesy.

6. Loyalty is instilled and earned, not expected. Just because a wolf joins Novara doesn't mean they will be expected to be loyal right off the bat. Once they have seen that the pack is worth being loyal to, their loyalty will be expected to be upheld. Betraying of the pack is unforgivable, but not punishable by mauling or anything of the sort. Any wolf found out to have betrayed the pack and brought harm to it will be permanently exiled and never welcomed back. Any exiled wolves seen near the border are to be run off on site.

Tier 1 Ranks and Descriptions

Rank Name: Re(King) & Regina(Queen)

Rank Description: They are the sole leaders of the pack. They don't have to be a mated pair, but can be. Their word is law. They take care of the rest of the wolves under their care and keep everything running smoothly. They can accept wolves at the borders at any time. They have the power to change a member's rank at any time they see fit, under the right circumstances of course.

Tier 2 Ranks and Descriptions

Rank Name: Duca(Beta) & Duchessa(Betaess)

Rank Description: They are the second in command of the pack. They are a compliment to the alphas. They're in charge whenever the alphas aren't present or out of commission. They can also accept wolves at the border, but they can't demote/promote wolves without the consent of the alphas. They can only make executive decisions in dire situations if they can't consult the alphas. They are to take control of the pack should the alphas step down or are no longer able to run the pack.

Tier 3 Ranks and Descriptions

Rank Name:

Cacciatore di piombo

Guaritore di piombo

Cavaliere di piombo

Pattuglia di piombo

Aprendista

Rank Description: These wolves are the lead ranks of the pack. The lead Hunter, Lead Healer, Lead Warrior and Lead Border Patrol. They are the ones in charge of keeping the rest of the healers, warriors, hunters and border patrol in check, making sure that they're keeping up with their jobs. They are to hold occasional training sessions to keep their charges' skills up. The aprendistas(apprentices) are the 1 & 2 year olds of the pack that have chosen to study a particular rank and the lead of that rank has taken them under their wing. Only the lead Border Patrol is allowed to accept members at the borders.

Tier 4 Ranks and Descriptions

Rank Name:

Cacciatore

Cavaliere

Guaritore

Pattuglia

Rank Description: The driving force of the pack. They keep the pack running and functioning smoothly. The hunters are in charge of bringing home prey for the rest of the pack and making sure that everyone is well fed. They should know how to bring down any sized prey, both on their own and with a group. The warriors are the ones in charge of keeping the pack safe from any outside threats. They should have knowledge of close quarter and long distance fighting, as well as offensive and defensive maneuvers. The healers are the ones in charge of keeping the pack in good health, treating those that are sick or have become injured. They should have knowledge of all herbs and their uses, as well as be able to treat any range of injuries. The border patrols should be at their posts at all times, keeping a vigilance to make sure that no unwanted wolves get past the borders. Patrolers should have some knowledge of fighting, both in offensive and defensive in case that they run into some trouble while patrolling.

Tier 5 Ranks and Descriptions

Rank Name: Nobli

Rank Description: They are the none ranked wolves or wolves that have reached an age where they can't really handle as much responsibility as younger wolves. They don't really have a job in the pack. They aren't the lowest ranking since there technically is no low rank, but just because they don't have a rank doesn't mean they can just sit around. They are expected to help out whenever they can and contribute to the pack.

Tier 6 Ranks and Descriptions

Rank Name: Cuccioli

Rank Description: Simply put, they are the pups of the pack. They don't have any responsibilities, but they are to be kept a close eye on.
