this was a hard post for me to write, so if there's any confusion, feel free to pm me!

Narrowed eyes would observe as the Valhallan queen lunged forward to meet her attempted assault halfway, fury flaring within the depths of her broad chest cavity as the queen moved to align her (Artemis?) jutting right shoulder blade with her opponent?s chest rather than its intended target. As the pallid prodigy had intended to clash with the russet-kissed woman and ensnare the left side of her face simultaneously, she would be granted the opportunity to foresee Chrysanthe?s counterattack as the woman tilted her skull in towards her own, gaping jaws lowered in hopes of snatching her mandible and ending the match quickly. Since Artemis understood and valued the function of her lower jaw more than potentially striking a blow upon her opponent, she would abandon the attempt at grasping the left side of Chrysanthe?s face in favor of protecting her own skin, narrowing her jaws so that only an inch of air remained between them and tucking her chin tightly against the curvature of her neck as she quickly turned her muzzle to her right and away from Chrysanthe?s own. Moderate bruising would blossom rapidly from the front of her right shoulder as she and the Valhallan sovereign collided chest-to-shoulder, own body sent mere centimeters backwards from the recoil as her blackened nails clipped the earth to retain traction and keep her grounded. Meanwhile, pain would course through the babe?s left cheek as the Valhallan queen?s teeth sliced shallow but long lacerations into the thin flesh located there, unable to maintain a grip as Artemis continued to turn her muzzle to her right and away from Chrysanthe?s gluttonous incisors, blood cascading down the front of her newly-torn cheek. While the wounds stung quite a deal, the tattered left cheek was a minimal price to pay in order to shield her mandible from being grasped and potentially broken by her opponent, so she would take the pain in stride, unfazed by the possibility of permanent scarring to her countenance from the moderate tears.

Left forepaw would succeed in hooking around her opponent?s front right ankle; however, the viper would be disappointed to feel the Valhallan queen struggle free from her grasp before she had the opportunity to pull the limb out from underneath her, quickly pulling her own left forelimb back towards her chest?likely while Chrysanthe did the same with her right forelimb. Because her left forepaw had been raised from the ground and brought back towards her chest and away from the queen, it would unintentionally manage to avoid Chrysanthe?s blind attempt at stepping upon it (realistic dodge), falling back to land safely upon the ground beneath her own mass to optimize her balance between four grounded limbs. While the wraith restored her balance, she would take it upon herself to reinstate her other defenses as she prepared herself for her next offensive maneuver, ensuring that her eyes remained narrowed and her ears remained sewed against the contours of her crown. Skull would remain lowered over her breast, tail streamlined in alignment with the remainder of her spine, chin tucked tightly against the curvature of her neck, jaws unhinged, lips unfurled to reveal the yellowed bone of her teeth, abdomen tensed, and hackles prickled along the base of her neck and spinal column. Shoulders would roll and neck would scrunch to aide in the protection of her neck through excess rolls of flesh and fat, limbs spread equidistant apart and bent at the knees to lower her center of gravity, toes splayed and nails gripped the earth beneath her as she distributed her weight equally between her four grounded limbs. ?Let?s dance.

It was the viper?s left shoulder this time that would jut forward, ambitiously attempting to strike the center portion of Chrysanthe?s right-sided chest just to the inside of the queen?s right shoulder, hoping that the brute force applied behind her hopeful slam would succeed in both bruising her opponent and pushing her backwards, intending to create some distance between their bodies. Simultaneously, Artemis? skull would swing leftwards, attempting to strike just underneath Chrysanthe?s left jawline with the top left side of her crown in hopes of forcing the queen?s skull up and to the left (Artemis? left) a good deal away from her own skull. The force applied behind the hopeful strike with her head would not be enough to damage her own skull too badly, and yet the babe would intend to gather enough force in hopes of forcibly shutting Chrysanthe?s jaws with the power to break her own teeth. As Artemis wrenched her skull leftwards, her muzzle would attempt to turn to the left (Artemis? left) along with it, jaws unhinged as they aimed to brutally clamp upon the upper corner of Chrysanthe?s left-sided neck, intending to deeply penetrate the flesh located there in hopes of severing veins and tendons.

attack attempt to shunt her left shoulder blade into the center portion of chrysanthe's right-sided chest, just inside of chrys' right shoulder in hopes of bruising the chest and pushing chrys back to create some distance between their bodies. attempt to swing her skull just underneath chrys' left jawline, hoping to knock chrys' skull up and to artemis' left and hoping to force chrys' jaws to snap shut with a force to break her own teeth. attempt to grasp the upper left side of chrys' neck to deeply penetrate the flesh located there in hopes of severing veins and tendons.

defense eyes narrowed, ears pinned, skull lowered, tail out, chin tucked, jaws gaping, teeth exposed, abdomen tensed, hackles raised, shoulders rolled, neck scrunched, limbs spread equidistant apart, knees bent, toes splayed, nails gripping, weight evenly distributed. turning her muzzle to the right and narrowing the space between her jaws to avoid the grasp to her mandible.

injuries moderate bruising to front of right shoulder, moderate lacerations to left cheek
