Her statement struck Newol as no madness at all actually. He found himself much in agreement with them. But her following question sent him for a loop, which was interrupted only by her jump down from the wall. He'd been surprised that she'd been able to do it, but somehow she'd managed. A chuckle escaping at the site. He was quite impressed with the girl for managing to do such a thing. But the fact of the matter was that her question had actually carried some weight to it. He didn't take it as her fault though, as she couldn't have known. So with a rather heavy, yet soft voice, he issued the words that made up his name. His smile never leaving his face, somehow defiantly refusing to let the thoughts hurt it. "I'm Newol Fated Zaraidd."

Then turning back to the sunrise, the faint orange and pink light hit his face as he staired up at the sky, smile still refusing to leave his face. Newol didn't like to think of his origins. Not because he had had a horrible childhood, but rather, because he knew he'd have been content where he was at. But the adults in their marry band of misfits all told their offspring the same thing. Each of them held a light inside their heart and where to take in out into the world. Instead of staying with them and always on the move, happy and content, they wanted their children to spread like wildfire into the world and truly prosper. To Thrive. And so he ran. Once he was old enough, they all ran away from home together before going their separate ways. He'd run long and hard and fast to keep the pain of leaving from catching him.

Closing his eyes in the soft morning light, he took a long deep breath in with his nose. The light, content grin never leaving his face. He was glad his back was to her right now so she couldn't see the bubbling emotions in his eyes that the fond memory had brought up in him. Finally, parting his maw in a refreshing exhale, his eyes opened and now all that burned in this was hope. Again his voice sounded the air, but this time it was much more strong and solid. "And I am from the desert sand of another time. Another place. One my parents told me to run away from and find a place I could thrive." Turning to look at the fea now, he readjusted his sitting position so that he was now facing her. With a content expression on his face he continued. "So I whole heartedly agree with you. Some people have to run so far into the world, they don't know where they are anymore, to find where they belong."
