As soon as the words moved from her mouth, Colman's eyes widened. She honestly thought that he was some sort of possession for her to hold. He bared his fangs, she was threatening him and she would regret it. His muscles tensed as his tail stopped moving to level with his spine. Stretching his neck his jaws opened and he tried to land his teeth to sink right into her right ear. His head to shake furiously with her, to tear that ear off. To show her that he was no longer something he could control. She may have been a queen in their old home but here she held no power and there was no point in trying to reason with a women who had disowned him in the first place.
Claws dug into the soil near the edge's of the cave as his deep growls echoed. A paw aiming to push her chest away in a sudden movement. It would cause more damage that way, it would make her feel more pain. Above all, it would be a reminder forever that they could no longer go back to the ways that they once knew. She had never been a good mother, all she had thought about was herself. She was one to lecture on love, when she had never loved anyone in the first place.
