make me feel wanted [birthing thread]

Massive beast had made his way back to the mangroves almost without thinking about it, paws carrying him silently through the dried grasses. This had once been his home, his pack and he its healer but with the absence of Jupiter he had felt an immediate disconnect to the others. His disappearance had been sudden and without word just as Jupiter's had been once his only reason for being there left. He had known only a few of the pack members here, mostly from pack meetings as he had stayed secluded when he could. Did he want to return? Was he ready for pack life again? Chest expanded and contracted heavily as he let out a breath and prepared himself to howl, wanting to at least speak to Jupiter's replacement and see who it was and if they had heard from their old queen. But it was then that another howl arched through the skies, warbling and pain filled but still all too familiar. Vi? Why was she here? Why was she calling for help? He let out a loud bark, more as a notice to whoever was near that he was entering rather then asking permission. He could deal with the repercussions later. Long legs started him out at a rolling lope and then soon he was full out sprinting. Muscle still packed his lean frame but he had done little to keep himself in shape so soon breath was coming heavily.
The monster broke crashed through the leaves, paws turning dried grass into dust as he burst into the scene. Immediately he looked for an attacker but all there was was a young female and Vi laying on the ground, stomach swollen. Eyes widened and ears pinned to his skull as his jaw unhinged and worked to form words. Immediately nose hit the floor in a bow to the young female who smelt of the pack, though as his sense of smell continued to explore he realized that so did Vi. "Sorry for the intrusion, I heard the howl and kind of panicked. I'm her brother and I'd like to help if you'd allow it." He said, words coming out in a rush that almost sounded like a growl with his raspy words.
Speech!
