Heat and cold, cold and heat, the two seemed to be locked in battle this time of year. Not that cold had much presence anywhere but in water, in the Ocean while the land next to it, the sands held warmth. The fox colored wolf was fine with either heat or cold but she much preferred it when there was water about and the Spirit of the Ocean could give water wherever she saw fit. When the Ocean could not reach out to the lands, Isabella saw it fit to visit the thing she loved more than anything in the land. Sometimes in her travels the calculative she-wolf wanted to go alone and leave her odd gecko companion some place better for him but since she was going to warm sand she wanted him to come along.

For the moment Isabella sat before the sea, looking out to the endless blues with her icy blue eyes as the waves occasionally graced her paws. Behind her sand flew as Alphonso the gecko dug at the dry sand making himself a den. He laughed now and then as he dug enjoying the task. Thinking herself alone Isabella allowed herself to smile just a moment before it faded and she spoke. "Funny how you prefer the endless sands to the beauty of what is before us." Her empty words hung in the air between them only broken by the waves before the gecko replied. "Water is all and good, and the sea is interesting and all but I prefer an ocean of sand Madam Izzy, it's my home after all." The gecko turned in his den to poke his head out as he spoke. Isabella looked back at him and nodded, it was true the sands were his home as much as the Ocean, or land by it was once her home.

Looking forward she left him to his digging. The sound of the waves, the smell of the salt, the soft wind, it was all rather calming but she did not let herself be calm. Calm was not her, emotionless was and there was a vast difference. Sitting motionless she had her ears up, that was until she caught sound of something that broke the pattern and as well as a scent on the wind. Turning her head she saw a wolf who must not have noticed her upon approach. He smelled like a male and had a cross on his side. That symbol she recognized on a wolf looking for her family.

With hopes of helping she stood but paused as another wolf showed up, another male. Alphonso must have smelled them as well as he came out of his burrow and looked. "Two wolves Madam Izzy." Isabella nodded. "Yes males." "Males? You plan to go near them at this time of year?" Isabella nodded. "Yes Alphonso, time of year or no if I do not wish for a mate I will not have one. This is about a task, that mark, I've seen it before on a wolf seeking family and wish to help."Isabella took a few steps forward as Alphonso dashed to her side to join her. The gecko's quick sudden steps contrasted with the controlled movement of the wolf. Approaching the free side of the crossed male she stood a comfortable distance from him with Alphonso standing under her.

There was silence in the air and she did not wish to be rude but she did wish to speak. "Greetings strangers." She said in maybe not the best way to break the silence. Her voice could have come off a little conceded yet she went on. "I am Isabella VentFlurrer, my apologies upon breaking the silence but I have seen another wolf with a cross seeking her family. Perhaps she meant you?" There was no need for small talk, just to address the issue at hand. Even so she did it with the best of manors, introducing herself first, apologizing for the disturbance and keeping her distance. Though that was also to size up the males and e at the best distance to react in fight or flight should she need to.

"My words are for all.""My thoughts are not."
