Drashiel grinned as Lysis appeared and rested his head on her shoulder. He leaned over to give her a gentle lick on the ear. Lysis and S'alkrie, what would he do without them? They were literally the sunshine in his life, his best friends, and he couldn't even begin to imagine what life would be like without them. He frowned a bit though as the meeting got started. Where was S'alkrie?

Kyarst then appeared and Drashiel nodded toward the younger male. Well at least one of the heirs had made it too the meeting. Kyarst was definitely more outgoing, he imagined Jigsaw was still probably too shy to attend without his mother. To Drashiel's surprise Kyarst came up to them and snuggled right up to Lysis. Oh, now when had they met? He grinned though there was a slight tug in his stomach. A streak of protectiveness over his only full-blooded sister. He knew he shouldn't though. Kyarst was his brother after all and the young one was still ill from that disaster with the volcano. Just the memory was enough to make Drashiel feel sick to his stomach.

The adult male would introduce himself as Ortzi Eternally Armada, an uncle apparently? Curiosity peaked, Drashiel would subconsciously lean in to hear what the male had to say, excitement running through his limbs. Finally he'd be instructed in the art of battle. And then?. Ortzi mentioned they'd be climbing trees. Really? Drashiel frowned. He knew how to climb trees. He'd been climbing trees for ages and was far more interested in learning to fight. Heaven's above why would no wolf in Glaciem teach sparring!

Drashiel almost made a face but kept himself calm and under control. He knew the importance of climbing trees. Hell, not that long ago he'd avoided being trampled by a moose by shimming up one and Lysis needed a bit more help in that area. Though Drashiel still felt frustrated. He'd been waiting since spring to begin sparring training and nothing. Patience? pateince? Drashiel took a deep breath. Maybe the older ones would spar after tree climbing?

He leaned over to nuzzle Lysis gently before getting to his feet and stepping forward. "I've have extensive practice navigating the trees of the mile-high woods and have used the skill successfully to avoid danger."
