She wanted to be alone.
For the first time in her life she honest to god wanted to be alone. Maybe that was why she had sot shelter within the secluded bay near the beginning of the summer, even though she hadn't felt anti social then something about this area spoke to her. But now she was two, the year of her birth season and she was beginning to discover what exactly that meant. The breeze off the ocean hid her scent well enough, plus the summer made her just want to lounge on the beach and soak in the waters. This place was just perfect, secluded and quiet. Plus there was an island just off the coast that eventually she would love to visit. One day a few weeks back she had seen it on an especially clear day and had taken a swim out there only to discover the most beautiful place on earth. It was where she normally hunted and hung out but a small part of her still lingered on the mainland. Ever since she had fled Glaciem during her meeting with the leader she had regretted not going back for Talon.
She was laying easily in the shallows of the ocean, relaxing against the feel of the the water pushing and pulling against her body. Forepaws were arched and clenched into the sand, preventing the slight tide from pushing her into shore or pulling her further out to sea. She had just gotten back from a swim to the island to get some food and now she just wanted to relax. But in her relaxing there was little to do other then loose herself in her thoughts. And as with all times she drifted into her own mind she couldn't help but think of him. Was he still alive? Of all the people she had met in her short life there were none that had left an impact on her life like Talon had. Prospero was the one who had started her on the path that had lead her to him and though she missed her adoptive dad who had helped her through her early years she missed Talon more.
She stretched out a bit more, forelegs pulling herself forward so her hind legs just kind of drifted out behind her until she dragged herself half out of the water and was laying stretched out. Head lowered, flopping down on the sand lazily as jaws stretched open in a yawn. Yeah? She missed him? Missed having someone to talk to and cuddle with and just be around. She missed having some stability in her life. Sure she had met lots of new wolves and most of them had been great but no one quite measured up to a childhood friend. "Stupid girl? Shoulda just stayed in the pack and dealt with it?" She grumbled, wiggling so she rolled onto her back and flopped over with legs sprawling all over the place and forepaws lifting to rub at her face. "Stupid girl?" She grumbled one more time before flopping her head back and closing her eyes, letting the sting of the salt water settle in.
