Name: Serra Arrow

Gender: Female

Height: 29 inches

Personality:
regal, self-sufficient, reserved, loyal, loving, reliable, truthful
Serra lives up to what one might expect the daughter of a duke and duchess to be. She is regal, always walking with her head held high and her tail a proud banner streaming in the air. She submits to no wolf that has not first proven themselves to her, but when Serra does bow, she does it with grace. There are wolves that she must submit to in the world, and Serra does not begrudge them that, but her first assumption is always that the wolf before her is below her. She relies on no wolf to provide her things that she can provide herself with, another thing instilled upon her by her family. Serra is easily self-sufficient; she is a capable hunter, and a passable warrior, though she lacks knowledge in healing and herb use. However, she rarely asks for help, and if at all possible, will handle any and all issues herself. For Serra, asking for help is a difficult thing, and when she does do it, it involves swallowing the pride that she has grown up with as the daughter of her parents. She is overall very reserved, something taught to her in order to shape Serra into a more diplomatic wolf, and rarely displays her emotions in obvious ways. She is never ruled by her emotions, and while she accepts them as a part of her, Serra does not allow them to run amok.

It takes a lot to gain Serra's loyalty; loyalty is not something that she gives away freely. She does not trust wolves instantly, and instead waits for them to prove themselves to her before she is willing to get close to another. Once she forms an attachment, however, Serra is fiercely loyal, willing to do almost anything for her friends and family. For those that she loves, Serra is anything and everything that they could want her to be. She is willing to be a champion, a defender, a shoulder to cry on - anything. Her loving side is most easily seen in this, but Serra saves her most obvious displays of emotion for her family. Her brothers and sisters are the most important things in the world to her, and any mate would probably fall a close second.

Though Serra rarely gives her word, if she does, she absolutely will carry through with it. She is extremely dependable, and if she promises to get something done, nothing short of the armageddon will stop her. As she is well aware that her word means a lot, she is hesitant to give it, and will usually try to leave herself a back door just in case something does go wrong. This is usually unnecessary - if she intends to do something, she almost always will, but again, Serra was taught to not break her word, and this means that if there's a chance she won't be able to do it, the words 'I promise' will not exit her mouth. It is also worth noting that Serra rarely, if ever, lies. She is truthful to the end, and if you ask her a question, she will tell the truth, even if the answer is one you wouldn't want to hear. She tries to keep the ugly truths gentle, but Serra would never go so far as to lie to another wolf. Her logic is that if they didn't really want to know, they wouldn't ask, right?

Roleplay sample:

The multicolored wolf crouched low to the earth, her tail swishing against the earth beneath her. She was counting silently, 10, 9, 8, 7..., her lips forming each number as she waited for her target to pass beneath the rocky overhang. It had taken her a lot of effort to track her prey down, and plenty of time as well. But Serra had been determined, tracking him down even when the concrete sightings whittled away to rumors, which then faded away into guesswork. At first, there had been wolves that had definitely spotted her prey - 'Oh yeah, we talked a bit and then he went on his way! Said he was headed for the river.' - and the journey had been an easy one over familiar territory. But soon, the definite sightings and conversations faded into something along the lines of 'I might have seen a wolf that looked like that a few days back? I'm pretty sure he went that way?' And even that dried up eventually, and Serra was left with her best guess. Would her target go this way or that way? She was never entirely sure anymore that she was headed in the right direction.

And then there had been the ocean. A daunting task to cross, and even if she were capable of it, there were so many ways to get dragged off course in an ocean. There were islands where a creature might have stopped to rest and simply decided never to leave, or a massive expanse of beaches, any number of which being a possible resting place of her target. And that was only if her prey managed to get across the ocean without drowning.

At first, it had looked like she was never going to locate what she sought so desperately. But then things had started working out in her favor - at first, she had found an extremely stale scent. And then she'd tracked it down, following it to its source, which had set her plan in motion. Now she was here, crouched down and hopefully out of sight as the first crunch of pawsteps reached her ears. 3, 2, 1... As she reached one, Serra sprang into action, launching herself down from her perch to bowl the other wolf over, covering every inch of him in licks and love. "Quelt!" she proclaimed joyously, tail wagging an enthusiastic beat against the earth. She had missed her brother more than words could ever describe, but she had found him now!

ooc: oh god, i'm really bad at roleplay samples, sorry. :c I had really hoped for this to be longer, but it was starting to sound really repetitive, and I couldn't really figure out how to vary it up without making it too obvious what she was looking for. Anyways I'm totally willing to write something else (like a starter or anything else really) so you can see more how I'd play her in a regular setting if you'd prefer that instead!!
