The young woman's black coated ears darted up and she froze when a all too familiar growl met her ears. She slowly lifted her head from the pool, water dripping from her muzzle as she turned till her wide, ice-blue eyes found him. Some of the more stubborn dried blood still clung to her fur, but that was the least of her worries. There he was. Lel. The wolf she was searching for found her instead.

She hadn't let herself realize how much she had missed him until she saw him. A sudden, powerful need to run over to him hit her and it took all her willpower to hold herself back. She turned her body toward him, ignoring the water running from her muzzle down into the fur on her neck and chest and the blood clumping her fur. It felt like she couldn't breathe as she debated on what to do next. She was like a dog with a car, she had chased after him so long that she didn't know what to do now that she had him.

Finally her craving got the best of her and she moved toward him, slowly at first and then at a full on run. Her tail wagged behind her with excitement and she skidded to a stop in front of him. She could hardly contain herself as she pressed her chest to his, nuzzling his shoulder affectionately and licking at his scruff. "Lel! Lel, I've missed you so much. Oh, Lel, Lel..." She couldn't sit still, couldn't keep herself from clinging to him, from wanting to please him.

When she was finally able to get a handle on herself, she sat back on her haunches, keeping her head low and submissive. She didn't know how he would react to her outpouring of affection. She hoped he knew she still loved him, or at least knew it now. Being away from him made her realize how much she needed him. "Lel, I was kidnapped. That's why I was gone. He held me captive and used me, but I got free. I killed him, that's why I'm here. I was looking for you." She looked up at him hopefully, knowing that he was the only wolf in the entire world she would ever completely break down for. Since she was dragged away that night, all she could think about was getting back to him and their mother, but Alena was really only a second thought now. All that mattered now was her brother. She hoped he would understand, hoped he would take her back and make her his again.
