He pulled her in closer, his warmth surrounding. He was rarely affectionate, it took him forever to become accustom to her touch, he had always been so standoffish in everything he did. The girl would relish in the brief moments they shared curled up in each others embrace, for she knew that she couldn't show this side back home. She'd be eaten alive if she did. His words would a smile tugging at her lips again, he was right, she did know the answer to that. He would nip at her nose causing her to laugh and return the nip to his muzzle. Happiness warmed her dark bodice, he would be returning home with her, they would be starting a new life together, a new chapter. Excitement had her tail thumping a little harder. She would jump to her feet, turning from him briefly, remembering the fruit she had tried. "You must try this! Its delicious." Once again the girl would lift herself onto hind legs, plucking a fruit from a branch before dropping back down and turning to him. It had been so long since she had seen him, she could barely contain her excitement. The girl was determined to get it all out of her system now so the transition back home would be easier on the both of them. Talk like this |
