Satu had literally slept through the earthquake. She'd gone to her den dead tired hours before and was deeply in slumber when the earth started to shake. The occurrence had taken on a nightmare quality as the young wolf scrabbled about in her den, caught in a dream. By the time she'd managed to wake herself up - mostly due to Song's call - the quake had faded to nothing more than occasional faint aftershocks that she would have attributed to her nightmare but for the looks on her packmates' faces as she wandered sleepily into the meeting. She managed to catch some of the conversation as she did, and it cleered her sleep-fogged brain up pretty quickly. "So it wasn't just a nightmare?" she hazarded, glancing around between her cousins and Song's older children, who she had decided she quite liked now that they were adults. A quick worm of worry wiggled its way into her mind. Were Cirala and Iorwerth ok? What about Kili? Adventuring was hard as it was, without the earth shaking beneath you.
Troubled now and already planning a trip of her own to find her erst-while friends and family as soon as the meeting was over, Satu flopped down on the ground near her cousins.
