Domovei had found his new hobby, his new reason for living -- following his queen, his master. The journey outside of Lentajin brought some excitement in to break the typical monotony of everyday life. The creature followed Newt without being asked or told. If she didn't want him around, she would tell him, he was sure of it. He would follow her to the ends of the earth, and so he did, trekking with his queen further east. He had no other purpose, and didn't know how to find meaning without the guidance of another.
Soon they journey halted, and he lifted his head to find himself looking up at a stranger. The violet queen whispered to be wary of the male, and he nodded understandingly. Newt began to speak, and he found himself growing even more enraptured by her way of speaking. It was so much more... mystical?... than the way his brother spoke. Every second he spent with her, his respect seemed to grow in degree. The painful wound she had inflicted on him had healed nicely, though left a slight scab, covering a scar that would remain for some time.
In the darkness his eyes would flash dangerously as Newt addressed him. By the way his queen spoke, he was nothing but trouble. As he stood behind her, peering out from behind her massive frame, his lips would curl over his teeth, a silent snarl visible on the male's feminine features. Newt had offered to protect him, and he would return the favor, as much as the small, submissive male could.
