The young Black girl was still so very alone, a feeling she was still having a hard time getting used to. She had heard that much of her family had taken up residence farther west, and she had been hovering around there, hoping this news might also reach her twin and might bring them together again. She was reluctant to join her siblings though, not without Concord. They would make their decision together as they often did.
She felt quite lost without him, almost like she was missing half of herself. The girl was tired, she had hardly slept all this time, her search seeming never to end. Paradox was set to wandering aimlessly, with no scent nor sound of her brother she had no real goal in mind. A lake rose up upon the horizon and she was suddenly aware of how thirsty she was. Unaware at first of the stranger just a ways off she pushed her silver muzzle into the cool water and lapped it up. Then lifting her head, violet gaze landed upon an older woman laying in the shade of a tree.
