You go so quietly once you've seen the end

He waited patiently for her response, and if need be, he would wait all day for her to entrust him with at least a name. Her voice carried a tone of weariness, and it worried him more then usual. It was obvious now, something terrible had happened to her. And all he could do was hope she wouldn't panic with him, and trust that he was here to help her. "It is nice to meet you, Miss Emer. I trust you must be famished, you don't look well." He would respond with worry, and slowly he rose to his paws so as not to cause a sudden reaction. Perhaps if he brought her back a meal, she would trust him a little more. He was here to help after all, and it was in his nature to ensure the healthy and safety of another. It was something his mother taught him, and he could not leave alone a damsel in distress. Glancing towards the direction the hare had ran earlier, he glanced back at her for a brief moment. "Wait here, I'll be right back." Without another word, he turned and ran in the opposite direction,
Within moments, he had managed to track down and catch the sought after prey. And although it wasn't his preference, he kept the mindset that the meal wasn't for him. He ignored the taste of blood upon his tongue as he swiftly made his way back to the small fae, hare dangling from his jaws as he approached her once more. He made sure to approach slowly, stopping several feet away before placing the prey on the ground. Stepping back, he sat on the ground another few feet away before indicating towards the prey. "For you."
