She had just finished a hunt not long ago, taking her well needed fill before dragging the carcass further into the territory for any of her pack mates to finish off. She gave herself a shake, pelt shifting along her large form, tail would give a flick, tongue licking off the last of the blood from her jaws before moving on. The girl would move at a steady pace through the soulless forest, mismatched eyes running over the changing terrain, what was once green trees were now turning into the colors of the sunset, becoming brittle and scratching harshly against each other in the wind.

Upon reaching the newly claimed land, the Rio Grande. Narfi would pause a few feet from the water's edge, lifting a paw to readjust the skull sitting atop her head so that it was level once again. Next she would shift the pack on her back, lowering her front half to the ground and giving a little wiggle so it would slide forward and not choke her as much.

While she was doing this the girl would notice something dark nearby, the wind bringing the scent of a rogue into her nose. Head slowly lifted and turned, her gaze canning over the river's edge for a few moments before falling upon a dark form sitting near one of the pack borders. A brow raised as she watched the rogue, wondering why they were just sitting there. Surely if it was somebody here to meet the Monarch or to join they would have called to let Cataleya know of their presence near the border, not sit there like a fool.

With a smirk she would move forward, holding her head high, no emotion showing on her face and body neutral. The distance between the two wolves would grow smaller, and Narfi would come to a stop just six feet in front of her, stopping and sitting back on her haunches. Tail curled around her form, body relaxed yet muscle twitching every couple of seconds, showing she was ready to strike or move whenever the moment called for it. Grey and green gaze would simply observe the she-wolf, waiting to see what she would do. Had she come to join or speak to the Monarch, she would have called instead of sit here and think the wolves here had telepathic abilities to know she was here.
