The cooling air felt nice through his fur with autumn here. It had been a full two seasons since he had been gone, and a lot had happened. Losing his memory, he hated to admit, had been the best thing that had ever happened to him. Now he was ready to start again, after remembering everything. His black tail would flick as he looked at the water moving in the rapids. Paws in the dirt as red eyes moved over towards the ludicael territory. Hajime was however not interested in a pack until the right moment. He had spent enough time in the one with his former mate to know how to handle things. He was much stronger than he had been, used to be. He was no longer the weak boy who dreamed of being a kind. He simply just wanted to live, and that was how he would keep it.
The brown man perked his ears, the black one giving a bit of a sense of the surrounding area. Birds were singing, but it sounded like something recently shook the land. It confused him, deeply. But then again things did happen and he didn't want to know about it. Ever since his mother died, he figured it was better never to pry if it was needed. He walked along the rapids some before reaching a lower part where the land dunked into the rivers. He didn't feel like taking a swim in the middle of the day so he avoided slipping into the waters. Simply exploring it seemed to pass the time out of his boredom.
