I didn't realize you were so special

Hajime was nearly lost in thought, until suddenly there was a small creature in front of him. It surprised him that a young ling had made it out on their own like this, then again he survived just fine being a yearling for an entire year until he turned two. He smiled, lowering his head a bit towards her and trying to seem less threatening.
"Hello, do you need something?" He asked politely. Maybe she was looking for someone, lost perhaps? He had a bit of a soft spot for the younger, so perhaps he could help. After all, he spent five months with three of his own pups. It had been hard to leave them, but nothing he couldn't overcome somehow.
