That day Kassander had felt very adventurous that particular day as he pushed past the borders of the Rock Garden of Ebony and more towards the lake that he had heard so much about. He took a small sniff of the water before leaning down and taking a drink. He probably should have told his mother where he was going but he hadn't thought about it at that time where he had left their den. The young prince pushed away from the water and towards the forest for a walk. He looked for herbs that he had learned about through Elsa, who was fast becoming his tutor in healing. He sniffed around for the strange scents of ergot, lavender, and blueberries as he remembered what each of them was used for. Kassander found the purple flower that was often used to calm ones nerves not far from the water. He picked a few stalks and took in their scent with a smile. They smelled the best out of the three of them. He picked them up with his mouth before pushing off once more. He gave a smile as he looked for ergot next, something often hidden in grains and such.
