Once he was given the good ahead to eat at Thor's kill, Laufey only had eyes for the deer. He zeroed in on the carcass and fell on it with an unmatchable zeal. Or, he would have, had he not been faced with the dilemma of opening it. For a second his zeal was put on hold as he eyed the belly of the deer. It wasn't a matter of how, but where. Naturally he was inclined to start at its underside, but the meat on those legs! The boy didn't know what he wanted. He just wanted.
Finally he dove at the belly and tore into it, wolfing down the contents while paying no attention to the other wolves. If they wanted his attention they were going to have to fight for it. He wouldn't be intentionally rude, but the boy was single-mindedly focused eating.
