She had slipped into the den in the middle of the night. Her silent paws disturbed nothing, not even the bedding. She had been half asleep, being it had been two nights without sleep. Nightmares still plagued her and she trying to deal with them alone and not always going to Imena. But she couldn't do it again this night. She had to go to the woman she saw as a mother to her. Though when she entered the den and saw the white male she almost backed out. But her body was too exhausted. She couldn't even remember cuddling up to Imena but she had. But the morning would not be a pretty one. She couldn't remember her nightmare when she woke up. Just that the fear had sake deep into her, froze her bones and filled her lungs with water. She wasn't aware of hitting Imena or staring out of the den till Imena's voice reached her. Slowly it pulled her back to reality, her body relaxing. She sighed softly, turning to look at Imena then remembered the white male. Embarrassment washed over her, curling her up in a tight ball. She hoped she didn't wake him up. Unable to see if she did ot not, she hide her face into Imena. |
