She was almost completely covered in blood both dried and fresh not that it could really be seen in her pelt due to the color but the state of her pelt was disheveled and matted. For the past week she had allowed it to gather and collect in her fur. Though she had taken care to distance herself from Crucifix caution had been thrown to the wind at the site of her love being sick. Since then she had remained with them both. Having Maia care for her children. Well... All except one. Vi had spent two days searching for her first born daughter in vain. Fia was nowhere to be found. Hopefully she was fine and would turn up soon enough for Maia to get her to safety. Before she would be exposed to this sickness and these horrid sights. There was little worse then seeing your loved ones in the midst of pain and panic and being unable to do anything. Vi had found some herbs to try and bring the fever down but fear of fucking something up kept her from trying any herbs that might help with the bloody eyes.

She was out collecting herbs at the swampland when she heard the call. Slowly Vi would lift her head and a lip would curl harshly. It was an unknown source, but it was calling for herself and healers. And... Crucifix? Could it be her Cru? She would wait a moment before collecting the herbs she had gathered and setting off at an easy lope towards the boarders. She knew she looked terrible and she hated it, her once white paws and belly now an awe ful mixture of brown and red from laying in the bloody dirt in the dens of the sick. Even the black marks around her eyes were marred with blood. It seemed she had not missed a single spot on her body. She was a queen, she should be doing better, she should be able to handle the sick and look her best but she just couldn't.

Orchid was already there when she arrived, head carried low and tail licking at her heels in an almost subservient manor. She no longer had the energy to show her pride in her pack. Slowly she would circle Orchid, nodding to her before dropping the herbs she carried and eyeing the woman before her. "That cross looks familiar... Wouldn't happen to be part of the Black family would you?" She asked, voice holding almost no emotion. She couldn't bring herself to put on a facade, to pretend to care about anything that wasn't her family and her pack. She wore no mask for quite possibly the first time in her life and what showed was almost nothing at all. No emotion, no mischievous flicker in those lantern eyes, no sly tilt to her lips. Vi already had a sneaking suspicious this woman was here to talk of the plague. Nothing this bad could be contained to one area. Though as far as Vi knew it wasn't immediately contagious. At least not through contact or even exchange of bodily fluids. She would be sick if it was.... Right?
