The healer recognised the first to appear from the Covari meeting of her first day in pack lands. Another of the sick, and his form was a sorry picture as he sat panting in the grass a few feet to her side. The next to make an entrance upon the meeting was a darkly mottled fae with bright eyes and strange touches of red along her coat. ?Our queen has taken a quick journey to other packs to find out what she can, and yes I am a healer? she told this girl whose name she did not know. Next to enter would be another she did not know, but who announced herself as a healer. Orchid would nod her head next to this girl knowing she would be much needed in these talks ? without her Orchid was perhaps the only healer in residence.

A pup would gather now before them and surprise would flick an ear as she looked at this girl. Orchid would recognise Sibelle from the meeting, and knew she also was a beta ? and a healthy one at that. She lowered her head in respect to the higher ranking wolf and gestured for her to take a seat beside Orchid ? With Desiree sick Orchid would need this higher ranking wolf to help with this crisis. More wolves where appearing before them, the crowd gathering below and she was ever more thankful for Sibelles presence as she took in a breath, stealing herself for the gazes of all these strangers upon her.

Another would appear, this one scenting strongly of the rogue lands and calling herself a medic. Another smile would grace Orchids lips, healers, healers had come to Covari and she would not be the only one here with herb knowledge, trying to find the answers. The pack had voices in this too, healers or not for the crisis that gripped them. She sucked in a breath and struggled to find words, speeches ? public speaking. She shuddered inwardly but plunged on regardless. ?All healers are welcome here today, rogue or otherwise, so thank you? she began, taking in another breath of air. She hadn?t really considered the implications of calling a meeting ? speeches. She couldn?t just shove them all into the same space and except them to understand and find the answers. ?For those of you that don?t know, there is a sickness travelling the lands ? it is not just Covari effected, we know this because of a runner from Valhalla that came to our border a few days after our first sick had fallen. To tell us of their encounter with this. It starts with bleeding of the eyes, contains hallucination and fevers and fatigue for the most part ? and it is not infectious both I and Vi have been in contact with it and even now we show no symptoms? which surely was enough to catch up the unknowing. ?You are all here because we are trying to find answers. We have given herbs that match the symptoms ? Eldberry for immune system, Yarrow for bleeding and Wolfsbane as a fever reduction and pain relief ? none of these have proved the answer. ? annoyance crept into her tones at the illusiveness of the cure and the fear that their might not be one. She mentioned nothing of this ? she didn?t want road blocks or doubts, she wanted answers. ?So let?s all knock out heads together and think offer ideas, experience and knowledge. Even if you don?t know healing, don?t think your useless, offer us ideas that perhaps we have not thought of yet? this was more of a group discussion then a meeting, which was exactly what it needed to be.
