Fate fell into her paws throwing the scent of an approaching wolf. Her mind puzzled over it, she knew it vaguely but couldn't match the face just yet. Ears twitched before she turned her head, fixing Sephiroth with her ice blue gaze. A warmth spread through her as she watched him approach, a smile teasing at the corner's of her lips. For once she wouldn't have to reach out, to speak up first, as he greeted her. For a moment all she could do was study his frame, his size and coloration, the scar hiding on his chest and his eyes. Something hide there, locked away but she couldn't tell what. He would ask a simple question, one she wasn't sure how to answer or if she even could. She would look away, glancing across the lake her eyes distant as she thought for a moment. She hadn't told anyone really, Cru knew bits of it but not the full truth of what she went through. Could she ever bring that up? To remember those feelings, the fear and joy, now knowing she had her mind twisted and played? He had left her! He left her broken, dependent on him! Eyes grew cold for a moment before a sigh slipped from her, shoulders sagging. "I..was..looking out for someone. Someone who might cause..trouble.." She said finally. And me more pain She thought to herself. She looked down at her reflection in the water. She knew what she was, what she looked like. But who was she on the inside? She had once known that answer, now she didn't have a clue. She felt like she was once an angel among her family, helping when she could, always there. But since she came here to Ala she felt like her wings had been ripped off her. Inside she wanted to scream in pain, for her loss of self being, for the pain she endured, the distance between her siblings. She felt so lost now. She would turn back to Sephiroth, her eyes clear of anything swirling inside her. "What brings you out so early this morning? Don't you have...someone to share the mornings with?" She asked and honestly she thought he seemed like the one that might already have a mate or something. She looked down at her paws shyly. |
