Qanik hesitated between calling her back and letting her go, glancing uncertainly at Roman. No, she wouldn't contradict Roman - she'd let her decide what to do. Instead she turned to Gossamir.

"What do you know about the herbs alfalfa, horsetail, and valerian root when used together by mouth?" she murmured to the girl. If anyone in their pack knew and could recognize poisons, it would be Gossamir.
