Delightful birds

This land was so new, never had she come across anything like it. As a tigress smelling a bunch of wolves in one area was odd. Where she grew up they weren't in packs, most were alone and simply travelling through. Even then the odd woman's pink eyes gazed at the trees at the mass of birds that were flying about avoiding the beast. Chaika happily licked her snout as she crouched, and pounced at one of the trees powerful claws digging into the bark. She was able to snag a bird and eat it whole because of the size, dropping down after she was done she dipped her head in thanks.
Chaika rested her body near a tree after that, watching the world quietly. It had been a long time since she had been able to relax, so this event was taken in perfectly for the odd marked tiger. Chaika smiled mildly, comfortable within the cool air of winter. Perhaps she would learn more about these wolves, not that she cared, but she would be lying saying that she wasn't curious.
