The sickness had spread from wolf to wolf, making others at risk for being exposed and possibly having it, too. The paranoia that came from such horrible thoughts made Eria remain in her den with her little family. Isis had been hit with the plague and she was afraid to even think the worst for her daughter. So, instead of voicing her fears and worries, she put all of the energy into making sure Isis remained hydrated and ate enough herbs to maintain the fever. Erion wanted to help as much as he could, but since he was just getting used to using his leg again, Eria didn't want him to push it.
Friction appeared early that evening, something she was not used to him doing. The large male had been helping the other members of Valhalla, especially the most recent cases. His caring nature made Eria proud and she surely hoped that his hard work would pay off. Now, as he stood at the entrance of the den, asking for her presence, she was concerned. A look of slight worry appeared on her face before she peeled herself away from Isis's sick form. "I'll be back, baby," she softly said as she slowly padded towards the entrance.
It had been a long time since she had seen the outside world and quite frankly, there was nothing she had missed. Looking at Friction, she gave him a gentle nod so they would walk a few feet from the den. "Isis is still hanging in there. She is toughing it out, but I know she is exhausted from being sick this long." A soft sigh escaped her lips as she continued. "You said that you did something...what was it, dear?"
