She never wanted to be false around Crucifix, but at the moment she felt like she had no choice. Earlier words were forgotten, but if she was with an active mind she would have giggled as his words. He was a good brute, a kind, caring and passionate soul. But Othello? She was none of those. She would only drag him to hell with her, and he didn't deserve any of that. He needed a lot better, and she just wasn't it. No one could want her, she was just teasing herself with the idea that Cru actually wanted to be with her. She was a nobody, just a temptress to visit on lonely nights. That was all she was good for, was all that she was ever good for.

Slowly the dame pulled her face back from the comfort of his chest, her lavender eyes more at ease. She wouldn't panic in front of him again, she already knew that he could never want to stay with her. "I cannot tie you down Crucifix." She said softly, her vocals hanging in the still air between them. She smiled slightly, although the motion seemed to be a little unsure. Carefully she unwrapped her tail from his, the long appendage flowing in the slight breeze. Yes, she seemed to be a little shut off now. She stuffed her feelings inside and locked them away, something she was quite used to doing. Why should this time be any different? It didn't matter that Cru made her feel like never before, and she was just tantalizing herself by thinking that she was wanted. What a silly creature she was. "You can leave whenever you please, if you do in fact have a home to return to." She hated to hear the tiny bit of hope that crept up in her voice, but she would scold herself later.

She didn't like the look in his matching hued eyes, and she couldn't help but stretch up and draw her moist tongue over his cheek. She longed to console him, to show him that she wasn't really crazy. It may be too late for that, and she couldn't let herself hope for anything different. A soft sigh passed through the lady's maw, and she nuzzled his now damp cheek before returning her head. Othello rolled on to her back, her paws flopping down in front of her belly. Tilting her head to look up at the wonderful being in front of her, she longed to tell him how she truly felt. That was safely locked up though, buried deep so that she would not ruin another life. That is all she did, take good, pure things and make them ugly. She wouldn't do that to Crucifix, she didn't have the heart to. Othello would not be selfish, although her heart ached for her to.

The dame had been enjoying his soft caresses, but that had started to undo her barrier which was the reason for her movement. Although she ached for him to touch her again, to simply embrace her, she showed no signs of it. She just laid there with a casual smile on her lips, her eyes dimmer with her locked down emotions. She was afraid to let anything show, afraid that her panic and neediness would make her lose him. Maybe Cru would like her like this, a normal female that he could shape into whatever he wanted. Maybe he could love her then...
