His mind would mentally shudder from the thoughts of a hysterical girl on his hands, for the thoughts of any misery that could have been caused by his own actions. By her actions and concession the night before he thought that she had welcomed him into her arms, but now she seemed to hold him at arms legs, as though she regretted the time they had shared together. He felt her draw from him, felt the unwrapping of her tail from his own. His eyes upon her now would be filled with the regret he could not hide. How funny, how strange and unexpected that she would be the one to pull from him and not the other way around. How very, very strange that it would be he who looked at her with the tones of regret, and perhaps even lose as her gorgeous tail pulled free and touched the wind. Yes, free? that was what Othello was, this strange exotic creature that constantly surprised him, she was a free and wild being.

She would speak again, and it held within it the feeling of a dismissal. Only, he felt uncertain who was being dismissed, fi she dismissed him, or it was to herself, her way of letting go. Her actions however seemed to contradict her words, for she would reach forward and sneak a soft kiss against his cheeks. Rub her velvet cheek, so soft and plush against his own. She fully moved from him now, and his paw would fall limp against the earth, no longer able to gently caress her form. A sigh would pass his lips also, it seemed that in the stark reality of day, all the dreams of the night where lost.

In the moments that had passed, of the emotion that had overtaken here then past he felt like something had been lost, as he looked at her now her spark of life seemed to have dimmed and faded, the smile against her maw held nothing to the pure radiance of her true being. He blinked at her, entranced by the change, and deeply saddened to see how she had locked herself down, locked herself from him. ?Oh Othello? it came from his lips in an unexpected moment of sadness, and came in the form of a sigh. Sweet Othello, how she seemed so lost to him now. ?You?re a stunning creature my dear, even if I don?t understand you? a dry chuckle would follow, an attempt at humour that fell far, far short. He ached to draw her into his arms again, the strange beautiful, wild creature. ?I chose to have no home. And where would you go from here, Othello, where would you go once you left my side?? His wistful voice was ask.
