The male was wandering back towards the den now, a rabbit hanging from his jaws. Ears were perked forward, light purple eyes focused on what was ahead. As he neared the den he could see a wolf he wasn?t familiar with... As well as his children. ?owyn was no doubt going to come out of the den any moment, and Birch, aware of how overprotective his mate was over their first litter, would move quickly up, coming between the male and the children, though his posture was aggressive. He would set the rabbit down, looking to the male now.
?Greetings stranger. If you would be so kind to take a step back for the time being... I don?t want to cause any unnecessary conflict between any of us.? Well, more like he didn?t want ?o to go all super mom and try and tear this brute?s face off... Especially if he meant no harm. He didn?t necessarily see his mate as the aggressive type but... Mothers, especially when their pups were very young, were not wolves to be pressed.
