The last thing Crucifix expected was her response, for the strange sadness he felt to well within her gorgeous orbs, so show within her features and in the tone and meaning of her words as she whispered his name, whispered and pleaded with him ?no? he would pause, his eyes upon her in uncertainty, unsure at the meaning behind her words. His confusion however would be short lived, for other concerns would envelop him as tears poured in diamond liquids from her violet eyes. He would move forward in a heartbeat, unable to see such sadness within her and do nothing. He never hesitated to take a plunge and risk himself to save a life, but this plunge was different, the risks not the same but he plunged regardless, to find a way to help her from her pain.

They collided together, their chests connected and he gasped with the force of the impact. Then she was in his arms and he held her close, enveloped her with his being, holding her to sanity and to tear away the sadness. He would hold her, and she would speak, her words an attempt to find understanding within herself, understanding for Crucifix as he realised it was his own pain that had brought forth her tears.

He tried to make sense of the emotions that ran through him, that ran through her, of the scene they created as they clung to each other. He did not, and could not understand, but it didn?t stop him from trying, for holding her and attempting to find a way to stop her sadness, even as she did the same for him. So he would listen, as she told him her tale. He was surprised by her admission, but allowed none of it to show, instead he pulled her closer, and nuzzled gently by her ear. ?You?re a wonderfully exotic wolf Othello. That is not your curse, it?s your gift? but her words of never leaving her side made him falter. There was only one wolf in the world who could truly hold and keep him, and even then he did not stay always by her side. He adored his sister, but his need to wonder, to meet others to find this world was too great. ?Othello? he whispered softly, his mouth so close to her ear his breath and words would tickle against the furs. ?I don?t know how to stay? he expected her response to that to be negative, but he could give her nothing less then the truth.
