Dhiren Destruction was out and about early that morning. He was eager to get started on an early patrol, but instead, something pulled him towards the mangroves. His mouth was definitely dry, and having the morning breath didn't help his salivary glands, either. Smacking his lips together, he slowly walked through the heavily-laden trees. Beauty was all around him and he didn't want to ruin it.
He had the frame of his mother, which was something he didn't intend on getting when he was conceived. His lanky legs carried him between the thicker spaces of the mangroves, but he didn't care if he was reminded of his slender figure. Despite carrying less weight than his sisters, he was still sculpted with lean muscle and the required fat for the oncoming cold season. Ever since his conversation with Novella, he was grateful to look like his dad. It was the main thing that set him apart.
The desire for something to drink was worse than when he had woken up. In no time at all, he came across the main river that eventually had the trees' miniature streams meet. He lowered his head and immediately began to lap the cold water. Relief was evident in his breathing and gold and silver eyes closed. Ears remained perked as he felt as if someone was watching him. When he opened his eyes, he realized that an older form was not too far off from his current position.
