She was angry, he could already tell that but despite her anger his smile wouldn't waiver, instead it would just grow and spread turning a bit more mischievous even as she bristled. He side stepped a bit as she spoke, words bitter and a bit resentful as if she blamed him for all of this. Now why would that be? His smile continued to grow. "And hows that going for you?" He asked cheerfully in a strangely singsong voice, eyes dancing wit an internal light even as he continued to edge further and further away. Her next words were more purposeful, directly shot at his lack of appearance. Even at the pack meeting. A slightly nervous laugh would slither up his throat as his ears folded against his skull. He didn't really want to tell her he had avoided the pack meeting because he had been worried she would be hormonal that day? So what other excuse would work? What would make her not snap and freak out? Well probably nothing so anything was better then no answer at all. "Uh yeah? Hehe? Slept in for the pack hunt? Looooovvve yooouuuu..." His last words were drawn out in a singsong voice again, well as lyrical as his gruff rumbling voice could be. They were separated a bit more now, Kylar already prepared for an outburst that was bound to come.
