He was getting exactly what he wanted and yet she was ready for him. She sprinted and weaved with him, for a moment he would cast a look over his shoulder and grin at her though his hind legs remained lowered to the ground as if it might be able to propel him a bit further faster then his pursuer. His head would swing back around as he realized his inability to see his path might be what lead to his ultimate downfall. No one ever looked good running face first into a tree? So he would spring, for a short time feeling her hot breath on his haunches and the sound of her teeth clicking but then he would here her step falter, giving him a bit more of an edge and he would throw on a bit of extra speed to give him some more distance. He tossed a glance over his shoulder again to see her do a sort of weird tuck and roll flop onto the ground. Had she tripped? His smile faltered and he would slow, concern now spreading over his features. Was she okay? Making a quick U turn he would lope back, massive paws slapping agains the ground with little concern for stealth at this point. "Cat?" He asked now, worry tinging his voice as he stepped a bit closer. This was either her faking it to get him closer or something was wrong.
