Where The Edges Blur

He would move closer, and even closer. She felt frozen, hardly daring to even breathe as he placed his head along her shoulder. Body would tremble. Things were out of hand... and there was not a damn thing she could do. Not a single lesson in fighting had ever been given... and even if she tried she was a small fae... this man would be able to overpower her. Eyes would squeeze tightly closed, a yelp escaping her, fearful as he lunged and grabbed her scruff. It wasn't as if he had broken skin... but the mere action scared her all the more. She was shaking more now, tears starting to form beneath closed lids. She forced herself to speak, if simply for the sake of trying to prevent the male from getting further annoyed. She did not realize the annoyance was not aimed at her. "I... I d-do not..." She would whimper out, hoping that somehow he heard her soft voice.




"Speech"

"Settle down." Said my heart.

...and so here it was I would settle down.
