Black sheep in the crowd [pack meeting]

Adelaide would listen attentively as Vaughan addressed them all. He announced several things, one which pertained directly to her. The white woman perked her one good ear and felt a flutter in her chest as he requested that she hold a lesson for all other Sola Knights. To her knowledge, that included only Maximous and Elsa. Both had been members for longer than she had, and she hoped that becoming the teacher wouldn't bother them. She wasn't sure of how much experience each healer had, but suddenly feeling superior was throwing her off. Was she truly any better than they were? Did seniority somehow not apply here?

Adelaide blinked, refocusing her blue eyes on the scene, and gave the High Lord a respectful bow. Her words echoed those that Maximous had spoken a moment before. "Yes, Lord Vaughan. As you wish. I will hold the lesson immediately following this meeting." After giving a grateful smile to the dark brute, she turned to her fellow healers. "As you know, Maximous, I recently had a few herbs stolen. But I have since gone searching for more. You are free to bring whatever you would like, I am sure I could find a use for anything you have."

With that, the woman would sit with her back straight and her head held high. This was the opportunity she had been waiting for. As soon as this meeting would be dismissed, she would meet with the other two wolves and see what they knew. They could share knowledge, learn from each other. She could prove her worth to the pack that had quickly become her family.
