All that glitters is gold

Freya had known her siblings were exploring beyond the boundaries of their island? why couldn?t she? Sure she was the smallest of her siblings, and maybe friendly to a fault but she could handle herself well enough, she was the world renowned explorer Freya after all! So the golden girl had made her journey to shore early that morning, tiny legs pushing her towards the mainland as the sun broke from the dark behind her. She had travelled far, surprisingly fast for one so small.
Eventually she had gotten tired, and the cool winds of autumn had picked up as the farther north she went and soon enough the tiny child found herself shivering. Spotting an opening in a stone wall she had quickly headed towards it, brilliant emerald gaze widening as she drew in the site of the cave drawings.
