F?licien would glance back to his father, ears lowered. He knew that his father had called out for him, but worry for his mother brought the boy this close and he wasn?t about to simply move away. He would glance back to his mother, right before his father stepped in front of him. He would take a step back, eyes questioning as he looked up at his father. His mother... What was wrong with her? Tears started to fill his eyes. Why was his father trying to keep him from her? Was she really... dangerous? The pup couldn?t ever imagine his mother using the word.

When he had first approached his mother the snarling had stopped, expression softening. He was sure she wanted them... And even if he was a little scared he had followed his instincts that it was the right thing to do to go towards her, rather than take the obvious step and go back. But the moment his father moved in the way she became angry again, growling with such ferocity that F?licien dropped to the ground in fear, ears laying flat against his head as a whine left him. But then something seemed to register within his mother, seeing and knowing that this was not someone she needed to fight.

Then he would hear her... His real mother. He would rise shakily, looking to his mother again. She was weak... Hurting. But she wanted them... Just wanted to see them. F?licien would weave under his father?s legs, getting just a bit closer as ears lifted slightly. His face was saddened though, feeling the need to cry along with his mother as sobs shook her. He would whimper, looking at her sadly. ?Momma... what happened?? His words would escape him as Sorrel asked a familiar question, moving to stand beside his twin now. He would press lightly into Sorrel?s side, drawing comfort from his twin.
