To his dismay he would not receive much acknowledgement of his statement, just a simple nod. Typical. He huffed to himself, though it was hardly audible, and managed to hold back his curiosity until Liberty addressed them all as a group. It seemed they were going on a hunt. The young lad felt adrenaline begin to course through his veins at the mere thought of shedding blood, and as the youths fell into line he too joined the fray. He fell in somewhere behind Lysis, with Drashiel at the head of the group. He thought to charge forward and join his older half-sibling, but decided against overexerting himself. Drashiel soon alerted them to the location of deer droppings, which only meant the herd must be close. Ashen nose twitched as he drew in the musky scent of the hooved creatures. ?That way,? he breathed, pointing his bodice in the direction the scent had come from. ?Shouldn't we have a plan?? he voiced skeptically, as Liberty so far had given them few tips on how to be successful. ?speak,? |
