She didnt know what was happening. Blood trickled down her face, spilling from her eyes like tears. Shivers racked her dark body, but she couldn't tell if it was a fever or the winter chill. She stumbled along, shadows dancing around her, taunting her. The girl would flinch away from their grasp, jaws snapping in their direction. Why was this happening? She didn't understand. She desperately looked for her mother but she kept getting lost, unable to pinpoint her mothers den. A weak howl left her lips, calling for anyone that was in the area. Her stomach snarled in protest, aching for release. Her back would arch as she expelled her stomach contents. Jaws parted in a pant, her heart raced. The shadows continued to reach for her, tugging at her pelt. Where was Caeto? She hadn't seen him in weeks. She needed him now more than ever. A low whine slipped from the Heirs jaws. Was this the end? Talk like this |
