Thank god it seemed to be working, nature taking over and tension slowly eased from his muscles as she relaxed a bit more. If you could call child birth relaxing. It wasn't. She pushed and pushed and what seemed like forever later a small form would slip from her and thankfully Cat would continue to take the lead, reaching back to free and clean the small form before pulling it into her belly. One. Just one. Cat had seemed smaller then Secret had with his first litter but then again he had just assumed that her larger farm could handle it better. But just one. That was perfect, just like the woman now leaning into him and the pup nestled into her belly. "Let get back to the den now." He murmured softly, leaning forward to nestle into her shoulders, nibbling between her shoulder blades tenderly before leaning over completely to place a gentle lick atop their child's head. He nuzzled her and nudged her slightly until she rolled a bit. A girl, a beautiful baby girl. Slowly he would stand, moving his skull under Cat's shoulder so she would't fall if she couldn't support her own weight. But slowly he would either ease her to the ground or release his hold so she could lift herself up. "Lean against me, I'll carry her." He said easily, words a rumble as he reached over Cat to pluck up the tiny, still moist form of his newborn daughter by her scruff. She curled into a perfect little ball as Ky stood and waited for Cat to join him so they could go back to the den where she could rest. HER WORDS HERE HIS WORDS HERE |
