The lands of Ludicael were finally cooling off. After the warmth of summer had finally begun to fade, the small male had begun to spend more time out and about in Ludiceal's territory. It was nice to get out during the day and not want to suffocate. Of course, just to be contrary, that meant that Frino was wandering about at night. There was something to be said for the beauty of Ludicael's territory at night. The glittering, gleaming waters, and the clear stars above his head. He was far from an active stargazer, but that night found Frino carrying himself across the lands on dainty paws.
A cool breeze stirred soft gray fur as the striped creature padded along, each step careful as he meandered through Ludiceal's territory. Time passed in a strange manner as he wandered. It almost seemed to have stopped, honestly. Surely, the sun would be creeping up over the horizon by now? His sense of reality was disordered by the loneliness that threatened to rise up and swallow the social creature. He needed to see other wolves. Frino was, in short, unbearably bored.
And unfortunately that boredom had hit him on a night where there didn't seem to be any other night wanderers. The thought had Frino stopping, frowning slightly as he flopped down to the earth, mere inches from the bank of a slow moving lake. He paused for a moment, a wicked grin spreading across his features as Frino reached out with one to paw to smack the surface of the water. Ripples spread out, and the glitter from the water seemed to grow in brightness until the area was well lit, illuminating Frino for all nearby to see.
If there were any other wanderers, perhaps that would draw them to him. If not, Frino would soon go on the prowl for entertainment. Perhaps he would find it on Ludicael's lands, though at the rate things were going, the thought of heading out into loner lands for at least a short while seemed entertaining. Hmm. What to do? Surely something entertaining would pop up soon, right? Otherwise Frino might die of boredom.
