It wasn't too often that the new queen left her territory, but every once in a while it was good to get out, stretch her legs, and stake out the territories that surrounded her own. After all, it wasn't good enough to know her pack lands, she needed to know the areas that surrounded it. Eventually she would visit every part of Alacritis, but for now she would keep to the northern lands. She liked to be a comfortable distance from Glaciem so that if needed she could run back on swift paws. Today she found herself at the mines, a place she had visited a couple of times before. She remembered seeing Genesis here for the first time in ages and she was able to smile at the memory now that he was back in Glaciem with her. She padded gingerly through the remnants of an unknown past that littered the area as she stood just outside the opening of the mines, her ears flicking this way and that to listen to the area around her. She wondered who or what would surprise her this time on this chilly afternoon. Speech Thought |
