A pack, a whole pack of his own. Bass didn't expect anything like this to ever happen, but it had. A smirk was plastered on his black lippids as he moved towards the plains, rubbing his body along trees and marking his new territory. He had his eye on this land for awhile, ever since he first wandered in. It was close to his grandparents pack, and it had plenty of prey for the wolves who would soon call it home. The large brute, his tail high with his alpha's pride. These were now his land, an area where they would make dens and hold meetings, and where little ones would grow. The only thing that worried him were the cottonmouth's, poisonous snakes weren't exactly very friendly. He would have to be sure to gain knowledge on how to counter the bites of snakes, and to try and make everyone aware of the danger that could hide within this otherwise beautiful landscape. When he reached the center, close to the lake, the beast sat on his haunches. His head tipped back to the sky as he let out a howl, a song filled with his new domination of these parts. He had claimed this area, and he would forever protect it from others. Leveling his head, he remained seated and looked around, wondering if his call would alert to any possible members. Most of all, he hoped that his call was heard by his family. |
