With the new knowledge of Vereux in charge of Glaciem with his sister Athena by his side and as a mate, the young girl believed maybe the fate of the pack would change. But with living the north in hopes the pack she was born into could clear their name off everyone's black list, she feared for her mother. Ver said she had gone missing and Irune knew her mother would never live the pack unless something was very wrong. She moved at a steady pace, going west to start there and maybe ask Valhalla if they had seen her. She knew that pack was more than likely to help her over any other pack. It was a start at least, she just hoped she would find her soon. She thought back to the morning when she woke up after the plague. She couldn't remember much, it was foggy in memory. She just remembered feeling better, able to move again and started to drift away. She hadn't even realized she had left the place she had fallen ill till that night. She just needed to move, to go somewhere. She didn't know how she got better and it bothered her. Did her body cure itself or did someone help her? She was too afraid and unsure to go back and find out and then the concern for her family contracting the plague had her racing home to check on them. Here in the west the temperatures were not so cold, not what she had been used to. It almost felt like spring to her here compared to the far north in winter. She licked her lips, head lowered to have her hole spinal cord even and parallel to the ground, with tail included. She had been silent her whole travel, brows creased with worry. She would need to stop soon to rest and eat. But her worry was starting to eat at her gut painfully. |
