Right shoulder successfully connects with its intended target upon the natural groove located between her adversary?s right-sided chest and right shoulder, and immediately a sense of sadistic pleasure encompasses her malevolent being with the presence of this minute victory. It, however, is short-lived as the russet pawn yet again escapes--unscathed--from covetous jaws, leaving the Elysius deity to clamp down upon nothing but air as the queen maneuvers towards Artemis? right and out of range from the brunt of the phantom?s brutal assault. Frustration surges through her veins as her jaws fall slack again, a raspy snarl vacating her throat to unknowingly drown out the gratifying crack! of ruptured bone as her right forepaw successfully slams down upon the outward toes of her adversary?s own right forepaw. The wraith hardly notices this miniscule victory, however, and simply moves her right forepaw away from her adversary?s own, grounding it firmly against the earth to quickly reinstate her balance upon all fours before proceeding with any further movement.
The russet queen is too far from her proximities, so the phantom attempts to widely step to her own right with the intentions of forcing her right half and Sibelle?s right half to overlap yet again as it had multiple times throughout the duration of their fight ( with the point of her own right shoulder hopefully aligned with the leftwards [ sib?s left ] portion of Sibelle?s chest ), hoping to keep her enemy c l o s e. Mismatched metallic and violet gaze catches the abrupt gleam of threatening teeth as they strive for her muzzle, pallid skull pulling forward slightly so as to perpendicularly align her adversary?s jaws with the center of her own muzzle so that their jaws might form a perfect ?+.? Inexplicable pain radiates from her top jaw as her adversary clamps down upon it, the metallic tang of blood pouring into her mouth as Sibelle?s top teeth carve deep puncture wounds of approximately half an inch in depth into the bridge of her muzzle ( and away from the velveteen tip of her nose thanks to her skull?s forward movement ) and her bottom teeth etch moderate puncture wounds of about an eighth of an inch in depth that fester with blood upon the roof of her mouth; though adrenaline is such a delightful asset to brawling that the paladin is still not deterred from her battle even with such brutal injuries. No; all she can focus on is the convenient placement of her adversary?s mandible--placed between her own at last. The Elysius can t a s t e victory upon an eager tongue; she knows that the bottom jaw is the only part of the jaw that moves while biting, and that if Sibelle wanted to avoid her bite again, she would likely have to unhinge her jaws to do so--which would likely bring her lower jaw into Artemis? trap quicker. Thus, knowing that it is the only attack she can perform with Sibelle?s jaws wrapped about her top jaw, the phantom immediately seeks to have her mandible swing upward in an attempt to catch Sibelle?s lower jaw between her own clenched jaws for the third time, hoping to completely break the entirety of the jaw with the prospective force of her hopeful bite--top teeth seeking to pierce through her adversary?s tongue ( perhaps hindering the woman of her ability to fluently speak with potential puncture wounds to the oral appendage ), and lower jaw seeking to hook beneath the russet queen?s entire mandible--ruthlessly. Meanwhile, her adversary?s skull wrenches downward, though Artemis could only assume that such an action would likely bring Sibelle?s mandible into her grasp at a quicker rate, but it also causes the puncture wounds upon the roof of her mouth to deepen by about an eighth of an inch. Such would be injuries that would mar her porcelain features forever--the beauty of her countenance tainted by two facial injuries earned throughout this fight.
The Elysius? attempted jaw attack does not come alone; no--it is accompanied by the potential disruption of her adversary?s balance. Left forepaw now seeks to leave the safety of the earth ( hopefully positioned towards the outside of Sibelle?s own right forepaw after her sideways movement ), balance shifting to her three grounded limbs as she attempts to wrap her left forepaw around the outside of Sibelle?s right front ankle, hoping to pull the right forelimb towards her in one fluid motion executed with the intentions of upsetting her opponent?s balance. Right shoulder simultaneously seeks to strike the leftwards portion of Sibelle?s chest, hoping that the potential combination of a forceful and attempted push forward and prospective pulling of Sibelle?s right forelimb might succeed in forcing her adversary to lose her balance completely. All the while, defenses remain in lockdown: eyes narrowed, ears pinned against her crown, hackles raised along the base of her neck and spine, abdomen tensed, tail streamlined with the remainder of her spinal cord, skull lowered over her breast, chin tucked against the curvature of her neck, jaws set agape ( while not biting ), lips peeled back to expose tainted incisors, shoulders rolled forward, neck scrunched, limbs spread equidistant apart and bent slightly at the knee to lower her center of gravity, weight distributed evenly among her grounded limbs, toes splayed, and nails grappling into the soil beneath her to maintain traction and balance. She hears the drums of war beat slower and s l o w e r; she knows that either she or her adversary will emerge from the fray, victorious, in a matter of moments--she only hopes it is the rightful queen.

attacks with sibelle's jaws wrapped perpendicularly around her upper jaw, this would place sib's mandible between art's jaws. thus, artemis attempts to bite into sib's mandible yet again, hoping to break the entirety of the jaw now and hoping to also puncture sibelle's tongue with the hopes of hindering her ability to fluently speak. after widely stepping to her own right, art attempts to hook her left forepaw around sib's right front ankle, hoping to pull it back towards herself in hopes of upsetting sib's balance. simultaneously attempting to strike the leftwards portion of sib's chest with her right shoulder.
defenses eyes narrowed, ears pinned, hackles raised, abdomen tensed, tail out, skull lowered, chin tucked, jaws set agape, teeth exposed, shoulders rolled, neck scrunched, limbs spread evenly apart, limbs bent, weight evenly distributed among grounded limbs, toes splayed, nails gripping
injuries ( r1: moderate bruising to leftwards chest ----- r2: shallow nick in between nostrils, light bruise to right shoulder, moderate lacerations extending from above right brow to center forehead ----- r3: heavy bruise to the natural groove located between the right side of her chest and right shoulder ) deep puncture wounds to bridge of muzzle, approx half an inch in depth; moderate puncture wounds to roof of mouth, approx a fourth of an inch in depth after sib wrenches her skull downward.
notes sorry for the repetition of the jaw attack, but it's actually the only logical attack art could perform with sib holding onto her top jaw :p
