(for chasing down the g o d s) name Maikoda Sovari-Armada gender Female alignment Lawful Evil appearance At her full growth, Maikoda will toe the line in terms of size, falling in somewhere between her mother and father. Standing at 32 inches in height, she's definitely not going to be giant, but Maikoda won't small either. Her frame is lean and elegant, more slender than anything else, and even as a pup her body will be small, without any extra fat on it. She will weigh about 110 pounds when grown, a little bit on the small side for her height but not malnourished or underweight. Though she will not be obviously bulky at her full size, there will be muscle on her frame, giving her more strength than one might expect from a wolf of her size. It will be Maikoda's coat that is the true eyecatcher - she definitely takes after her mother in that regard. Cloaked in varying shades of black, white, and gray, Maikoda's coloration is not out of the ordinary, though her patterns definitely are. She is definitely a unique creature, to say the least. White adorns her paws, fading into gray and then black as one travels up her legs, which are flecked with white like falling snow all the way. Her shoulders and most of her back are white, which again fades across a gradient into a darker gray on her upper back and spine. This darker gray marks most of Maikoda's face, save for a light gray on the upper half of her face above her eyes, and extends a little bit past the base of her tail. The rest of her tail is largely a light gray, with a medium gray moving from about halfway down her tail to just short of the tailtip, which is a dark gray, almost black. All in all, Maikoda is an interestingly patterned wolf, and perhaps it comes as no surprise that her eyes are also a bit out of the ordinary. Unlike her mother or her father, Maikoda's gaze is heterochromatic. Her left eye is a light lavender, while her right is an equally light glacial blue. click personality First and foremost, Maikoda is very reserved. Even as a pup, she will not be prone to exuberance or obvious displays of affection - or even tears. Maikoda will often come across as very cold, seeming to feel little to no emotions. However, this is not exactly true. Like any wolf, Maikoda feels emotions; she simply does not display them. For her, a small action will often be as big a deal as something large and sweeping when done by another wolf. She will often sit to the side and watch her agemates play, and if she does end up joining them, Maikoda will seem much less interested and often grow distracted, wandering away from her games long before the others are finished. She opens up a little around her family, though not by much, and it is unlikely that this central trait will change much as she grows. Though Maikoda will have large pawprints to fill as she grows, she will not be hindered by that. Ambition will be second nature to this pup as soon as she is old enough to comprehend what it is. She will be determined to climb as high as she can - and Maikoda will do whatever it takes to get what she wants. This determination will manifest itself from a very young age, and it will only grow as she matures and begins to understand more of the world around her. The names that she bears are the names of giants and Maikoda is certain that she will more than live up to her parents. With Maikoda's heritage, perhaps it comes as no surprise that she is very proud, of both her family and herself. She has very high opinions of her family, especially her parents, both of whom are wolves that Maikoda looks up to and strives to emulate. Like any good little Armada, she views her father as something akin to a god, and her mother, a goddess. They are the pinnacle of achievement, and as she is a descendant of them, she has every right to be a confident creature. Perhaps this will begin to fade as she grows older, and should she be forced to come to terms with the fact that her parents are mere wolves, this may shake her confidence in herself as well. roleplay sample Maikoda had found herself further away from home than she'd intended. She'd only wanted to explore a little bit, but then she'd spotted a rabbit and tried to chase it (because rabbits were easy prey, and Maikoda was an excellent hunter, obviously - nevermind the fact that it had gotten away), and now she was well and truly lost. She was still within Glaciem territory, which meant she wasn't too far from home, but her den might as well be the moon for as much as that helped her. She hadn't the faintest of ideas as to how she might get back, though Maikoda was sure she'd manage it. Another pup might have been panicking and crying for its mother, but Maikoda remained calm outwardly at least, though she was indeed a little nervous in those moments. She was old enough that she could take care of herself for the time it would take to get back to the den, so there was no sense in getting worked up. In fact, Maikoda was sure she could smell it just ahead. And with that, the pup set off, lanky gray and white legs extending to carry her smoothly across the ground as she snuffled at the air. Any scent trails of her parents were obscured by the sheer amount of other scents that had criscrossed the area in recent days, various wolves that Maikoda hadn't yet met and had no interest in meeting. In that moment, they were all simply distractions, keeping her from her true goal, and she felt a low growl rumbling in her throat. The sheer frustration was the first sign of any emotion that had escaped her, and the tiny growl was gone as soon as it had arrived, ending with Maikoda taking a deep breath as she plodded onwards. She would get un-lost soon, she was sure of it. By the time an hour or so had passed, even Maikoda had to admit that she needed help. It was a foul thing to admit, and she had to fight the urge to crinkle up her nose at the mere sentiment. Maikoda might have been proud, however, but she wasn't stupid, and she knew that she was more lost now than ever. None of her surroundings looked remotely familiar, and with the first snowflakes beginning to fall and obscure her tracks, Maikoda was quite simply out of time. And so the young pup rocked back on her haunches and tilted her head back to let a reedy howl escape her maw, calling for any and all Glaciem members. At least one of them would be able to guide her back, Maikoda was confident of it, and as long as they could get her nearby, Maikoda would easily be able to find her way to the den. She just needed to be pointed in the right direction, but she had it from there! |
